I will definitely give them a call in the morning. I am actually going to be down in the area in a week or so anyway. Maybe they will hold on for me if I pay up front?
Thanks for all of the tips!
I asked one of the Walmarts in Fort Wayne just yesterday. They said they get trucks every day, but are not sure what will be on any given truck. They told me the best bet is to just keep checking back with them. Earlier in the day the better because their supply does go fast.
Does anyone know of a place that has the Lee Classic (4 hole) Turret press available? I have been itching to get one and I just have not been able to find any. I did see that Midway USA will allow you to backorder one, but they are not expecting them until early May. I am close to just...
I was able to grab 3 boxes of these the other day at the Wal-Mart on Coldwater. There was a guy ahead of me who wanted the last box of .380. The lady working there dropped his box on the floor pulling it off the shelf. I am not sure which side landed down, but I can't imagine it was good for...
I have recently seen a few comments about not using reloaded rounds for your concealed carry pistol. Any reason why? I was under the impression that the general consensus is that reloads are more reliable then factory loads. Any thoughts?
I have purchased from Wrigley before at different gun shows. They seem like good people to deal with. I guess I am going to just have to stop in and say hello tomorrow.
I had not heard that they opened a store here in town. Thanks for the info!
I try to fill specific "needs" that I have to fill gaps with what I already have. Granted, I am just getting started for the most part, so there are a lot of gaps. My wish list is extremely long. Unfortunately, longer then what my budget will allow me to handle. Having restraint is very...
I was talking to my dad the other day and he said he wants to get a shotgun, but he wants to get a semi auto. I own a Remington 870 (pump). He apparently doesn't want anything to do with a pump. He wants to use it out in the field to go shot clay with me and I am guessing also to have around...
Is there anything that a person needs to watch out for when buying a used set of dies? Do they wear out? In my head, it seems like they should last forever.
Thanks. I just wanted to make sure I didn't put the cart before the horse so to speak if I went out and bought some die sets before I settled on which press I am going to get.
I am shopping around for the reloading set up that I want. A question that has popped into my head is if different manufacturers die sets will work across any reloading press? For example, if I get a Dillon press, can I use a set of Lee dies on the press? Are they all interchangeable?
Very helpful information. Thanks. I plan on getting started loading 9mm and .38/.357. Once I get the hang of it, I want to get into .45 as well. That will give me a great excuse to have to go buy another handgun. :)
Congrats. Very nice looking new addition. I also own a sig....one of my favorite guns to shoot. I will definitely be going back to that brand the next time I "need" to pick up another handgun.
How many times do you all feel comfortable reloading the same brass? Is there a magic number? Or what are some of the things that you look for to tell you that the casing is no longer any good?
I am planning to get into reloading my own hand gun ammo before too long. I have been starting to save my spent brass when I am at the range.
My question is regarding other spent brass laying around. Is it considered bad form to pick others used brass up if it is laying around the range...
I have been keeping my eye on the local Walmarts for some time now. If I am driving by, I make it a point to stop in just to see what they have got. Usually, the shelves are clear of everything but shotgun ammo. Well, yesterday, I got lucky and they had a half dozen boxes 100 count boxes of...
