      Rock Island Frustration

I had to send my CS in twice. Both times it was returned in 3 weeks or less. The goodies I got the second time were 2 stickers, a pen, and a washcloth with the RI logo. - Not rubbin it in!

      clothes dryer as tumbler

Can't recall where I read it but if you have a VERY large amount of brass, rent a small cement mixer for a day and have at it. I personally wish I had enough brass to do so.

      Buying Local!!!

All I have ever bought on-line was a crimp die when none of the locals I knew of had them. Since then all pistols and rifles are locally purchased, ammo is hand loaded.

      Brass

I am up to 18 or 19 on my .45. I do keep the load rather mild - 5.8 - 6.3 g of Unique. Now on some, the headstamps are getting a bit difficult to read but a good look at each has revealed no real issues. I do toss them if the mouth is munged up and by munged up I mean a bad crease.

      Lee or Rock Chucker

I also cast my 2 cents in the ring for the Rock Chucker. Started in mid 80s with .357 and 30-30. Can't go wrong with it.

      .45 lrn boolits.

Well I made the trip up to Indy to Profire and well, didn't see a Dodge anywhere about but did see Andrew. Also saw, the supplier - Indiana Bullet Company - sorry, can't recall the name. Got home and while I have yet to load any up, they sure looked a lot better than the ones I have been...

      .45 lrn boolits.

Hello All My LGS (in Bloomington) has been out of .45 230 LRN for about a month now and does not know when he will be getting any in. I am down to about 50 boolits left. (Yeah, I hear you, 'Whatchya want to go and run out for?') So, online I go. A couple places have interested me and would like...

      Anyone carry "Sparrow" style?

Like some who carry, I wish to avoid a drawerful of holsters. Currently I have only 4, 3 for 1911s and one for a Sig. I do believe I am moving toward a shoulder holster or a concealed carry vest.

      jericoh

3 or 4 years back I was in Bradis for the purchase of my first 1911. Now I can't remember the salesman's name but he was a fan of the Jericohs (sp?). A few months later I went back and spoke to him about getting one. Apparently the importer who had the license decided to retire and no one has...
