      I bought a new Ruger LC9

Well I took it to the range again today and everyone put another 100 rounds through it. I put 50 through it - then the guy beside me asked if I'd mind if he shot it. Then at least 6 other guys had to shoot it. One guy was an amazing shot with it. He pulled his first shot - focused and put the...

      I bought a new Ruger LC9

By the way Mr.Jag I think you'll be very pleased with the gun when it get's in. "How much of a "noticeable" difference is there in pocket carry between the two in your opinion?" It's about 20% larger than my LCP. Last Saturday night I carried it to a party in my front jeans pocket (in a...

      I bought a new Ruger LC9

It's long but smooth. It could be my imagination, but it seems smoother than my LCP :rockwoot:

      I bought a new Ruger LC9

@ jayhawk I'm a lefty and I never put the safety on any way with the LC9. I carried the LCP for 3 years w/o a safety.:D Naw, I don't or didn't shoot the +P+ ammo. :ar15: It's just for the picture. :rockwoot:

      I bought a new Ruger LC9

@ 1911 shooter I paid $369 at a local gun shop that I do a lot of business with. They got 3 in on the day I happen to drop by. All three were sold in that 1st day.

      I bought a new Ruger LC9

Well this past week I bought the new LC9 (about 20% larger than the LCP and in 9mm). I really like this gun. - IMHO Ruger has hit another home run. I can and do carry it in my front jeans pocket (it fills the pocket full, but is comfortable , very comfortable in baggy cargo shorts)...

      Glock 26 or XD Subcompact?

+1 kingnereli That is a tired and dull story. Government purchases - as well as government gun tests - do not move me in the least toward purchasing one gun or the other. There are so many "deals" / biases / kickbacks that IMHO they are worthless. You should purchase the gun that feels...

      CZ 75's... Thoughts?

Some of the grit goes away with dry firing with a snap cap or a lot of shooting.

James Altucher's 8 Alternatives to College

That's my point exactly - you increase your odds of making more money by going to college - it's not 100%, but IMHO it's in the 80% range. I look back and see my old High School friends and more than 80% of college grads are making more money at any point after 10 years after High School...

James Altucher's 8 Alternatives to College

I strongly believe that most people need a college education in order to increase your income to the highest levels. Sure some (a very few) become wildly rich w/o a college education. but not many. Just look at the odds - It's like a kid not going to college because he or she wants to be a...

Good reason to let adults carry on campus

This is like many important things "a two edged sword". Most campus attacks have come from people that do not have a "carry" permit at all. Allowing adults that have passed the concealed carry requirements of their local laws seems to be a very good idea to me. I don't know why we shouldn't...

Who knows about the fact that you carry a gun?

I don't tell new people that I meet, it would make some of them nervous. About all of my friends know just because of frequent contact and familiarity. Good comment EdC "I guess I don't treat the matter any differently that I would any other matter that I consider to be personal." All of...
