1911's are just cool.
Pretty IMHO
Accurate as hell.
SAO (which has now changed - you can get a few DA/SA 1911)
Everyone needs to own one at least.
As said above .. go spend some time shooting a 1911.
Then you'll understand :D
If you can't own both
Then in my opinion the Ruger brand is a better quality brand than the Taurus brand.
While I only owned revolvers for years ... I now mostly own auto's.
I do not own a SR9 .. but several of my shooting buddy's do and they love them.
Well I see I'm in the minority here but ...
I've owned a P250 and really tried to like it.
But couldn't.
It may just be me, but I could never get the accuracy with it that I get on my other Sig's.
Not even close.
So I traded it off.
Only Sig I've evr gotten rid of.
As to price ... the...
I've owned my Sig Sig P239 for about a year.
It is accurate / easy to shoot & small.
I carry several different guns, but probably the P239 the most.
CCR refinished my slide for $79 http://www.ccrrefinishing.com/hg.htm
CCR has done seven of my guns .. I'm very partial to two tone guns...
Kimber Polymer Gold Match in .45 Cal.
I just bought a Kimber Polymer Gold Match .45 Cal.
I didn't even know that Kimber made a "Plastic" gun.
I've put about 200 rounds through it and it is a great shooter. IMHO
:patriot:
Thanks for your comments - I've gotten very good input from different gun forums.
I think I've found out that BUL made the frames and Kimber supplied the tops.
I just got back from the range.
It shot like a Kimber - in other words - like a dream.
Absolutely not a failure of any kind in my...

Any one own one of these or can anyone give me any information on it?
I'm off to shoot it this afternoon.

Heck maybe no one needs this kind of emergency stuff.
I think you be missing the point of the whole kit.
It has a cylinder bore 18" barrel and the pistol grip is so that it will fit in the tube.
Your right with the pistol grip, it will be a hand full to shoot.
But it's an emergency gun only...
Well it is a little more than a pistol grip 500.
It has a cylinder bore 18" barrel.
With the pistol grip, it will be a hand full to shoot.
But it's an emergency gun only - I wont be shooting it much - if at all.
I know I'm a little late to show.
But I've just heard of the Mossberg 500 JIC Just In Case Shotgun .
It comes in different flavors.
1. the Mariner - which is stainless
2. and the plain black model.
Does anyone have any experience with either of these shotguns?
I own the 26 db and the 31 db models
Wear them at the range all the time.
Yes there is a difference in the sound deadening of the two models.
I bought the 26's before I found out about the 31's.
I wear the 31's most of the time.

Funny thing about the S&W Sigma.
We had 3 of them in our family and we didn't care for their triggers either.
I took them to a gun show and walked around with a little sign and sold all three of them to different guys.
We lost a little money on each one, but not much.
