I recently bought a new weapon. It is a Colt 1911 Chip McCormick. It was sent to Lew Horton (I think) and has Chip McCormick on the slide. The book I have says that there were only 500 made of these. It has MFS - XXX for serial number. I am going to call Colt and see what info I can get from them. It has a Hard Chrome finish with Colt grips. (Medalion is gold color and brillant looking)
It has never been shot! It has the original Colt cardboard cover and blue Colt box w/manual. It comes with 1 clip in box and has 3 Chip McCormick clips. I would like to know what it is worth approx. and would like to sell it. I am not sure how to upload pics yet, but will try to do that by Friday of this week.
    Thanks for interest.

    Congratulations

    Any pictures?

    I'd like to see it.

I don't have any "safe queens".

If I own it I shoot it.

    Guns are fun to shoot.
