I plan to stock up on propane tanks and get a burner that will hook up to it for food prep but mostly water purification. I also plan to buy a few very large cooking pots to boil the water. My problem with bleach is that is has a shelf life. I also have wood to use for heating the house but...
I assume if I boil the water in a 55 gallon drum when im ready to drink it (assuming its past the 12 month mark) then it would be good? Or is bleach the only way to go?
Do you offer a discount if someone was to sign up for two classes. For example, if I were to sign up for the intro class on Feb 1st and the dynamic class on Feb 2? Also, do you guys offer any police or military discounts? Thank you.
Thanks everyone for the replies.
The pack I recently bought is an REI Flash 45 ultralight pack. The pack I had before was a 70L pack that had more straps and support to carry my glock 19 or 26 on the hip strap. This new, lighter pack, simply cannot bear the weight on the hip strap. IWB...
I am an avid backpacker and with a new pack I just bought I've run into some carry issues. On my old pack, I have an old green pouch that I would attach to the right side hip strap and put my gun in there. This does work, but it moves around quite a bit, and with this new pack my arms brush it...
Who all can meet tmrw at Forest Park under shelter #1 at 8pm? The Noblesville library charges 50 dollars to use thier meeting so that idea is out. If a decent number of people can meet tmrw at Forest Park, we can discuss other future options. I can only assume it will be nice weather tmrw?
The officers in the North Hollywood shooting did not have slugs, only buckshot. One officer was able to get a good hit with buckshot, but id didn't even slow the suspect down, just diverted his attention to the officer that shot him. A slug could have stopped that gunfight, even if it wouldn't...
They emailed me instead of calling (probably because I didn't give them my real phone number) and they said the free sample is in the mail. The prices looked very high in comparison to other long term dry foods out there, but I'm willing to give it a try.
Good point, I didnt think about this. I think public buildings like the library would have a room for free as long as we would reserve it in enough of advance. But, I don't think most librarys or public buildings are open past 8pm. I will check on this but if anyone else has suggestions for...
We could meet at 7pm, but it will be getting dark around 6pm this winter anyways...and there are lights in the forest park shelter. I figure anything before 7pm and we would run into problems with people getting off work and getting to the meeting. But 7pm is ok with me. Thoughts anyone?
What if we set some future dates....like every other wednesday night at 8pm? I think meeting every week would be too much for some people. Does next meeting on Oct 2nd work for everyone?
The price drop is to increase membership and therefore increase money. They need money right now more than ever. If they cut membership dues in half but sign up 4 times more people, that does more for the NRA than you can imangine.
If it wasn't for the NRA, none of us would have the legal...
