Better than 2 17 rounders? It's about the same cost, and the 17's aren't going to be as unwieldy as the 33 if you need to truly "use" it. I'd hate to be in close quarters with a broom handle sticking out of my Glock :D
But to each their own. What works for me may not for others.
I was wondering the same thing. I was trading a Colt for a Glock 19 at the gushow and the dealer wanted to throw in a 33 rd mag to sweeten the deal (instead of dropping the price :rolleyes:) and he couldn't understand why it had no value to me.
BTW, made the trade when he added two more G17...
Personally, I have to know and TRUST the person who made the reloads. Other than that, I'm sticking with factory ammo, or someday when I get the time, my own reloads. Anyone can rent a gun show table and sell you dangerous crap.
Now a licensed reloader who has good reviews from INGO might just...
I loved going to Atterbury as a teen. Friend and i would drive down and spend all day shooting...for just the cost of ammo. I know everyone talks about the idiots(and there was more than a few), but I remember the great guys too. More than a few times guys would ask us if we wanted to shoot...
I highly recommend the 19. Perfect blend of size, capacity, and conceal ability. Of course I carry my Glock 7 on the weekends, but I dont like to talk about that much. :draw:
