My wife and I went to the Weber Grill a few months after it opened. The food wasn't bad, but for the money, there are much better restaurants in Indy. :twocents:
There's a Five Guys in Castleton, across the street from the White Castle :D. There is one off of 86th street on the Northwest side also
My vote is for Five Guys, but Bubs is good too.
Family Grain Mill Jupiter Grain Kitchen Aid Wheat Grinder Flour
The Family Grain Mill (that's it's name) was made to be attached to the Bosch kitchen appliance. It has a lot of attachments and can be hand cranked or, with another base, motorized. It makes decent flour and isn't a bad value...
Unfortunately, they likely would select the ones that aren't like you and form their little Storm Trooper units with willing volunteers. Obviously they found 4500 that are willing to "do their thing" in Mexico. It just depends on the story they spin to the gullible (or overly eager) troops...
OK, so I just bought my Sawyer .02 from Moontrail :D
Should be here in a week, so I'll write up a review when it gets here. Thanks for the heads-up and the link to Moontrail, who definitely was the least expensive.
While I appreciate the sentiment, I'd urge you to give it another chance. No sign of gang activity any time I've been there. I'm going to continue to go to support the fair, and I'm not going to let the lawless run me off (assuming I see any). I'd hate to see the fair shut down (let's face it...
The Country Living Grain Mill is the best known, most popular choice for a hand cranked (yet able to be motorized) grain mill. It has proven itself to be reliable and able to produce good quality flour. You won't go wrong choosing this one.
For me though, the $429 price tag is too high for...
Actually, we are still the greatest producer of goods in the world today. We are just ahead of our Asian friends, but the gap is closing. It is the trend that people lament. We need to reverse the decline in manufacturing or we will lose the title of greatest manufacturer in the world, and with...
Thanks for the thorough post. I'd be interested in the flow rate that you get out of a single filter. Once you get it up and running, see how long it takes to pass 1 gallon of water.
Actually, $14 dollars is a pretty good price. The LDS warehouse sells Hard Red and Hard White Wheat for $11.45 for a #25 bag, but Wal Mart is more accessible for most folks. Just be sure you know how to store it properly, and as discussed previously, that you know how to prepare food with it...
I would participate in this. Why don't we start with this thread, add current deals, then sticky it if it is productive?
Of course, I don't have a deal to add yet :D I'll keep a look out though.
Wow, using your line of thinking, we should outlaw fast food, candy, soft drinks, donuts, and everything else you don't think is good for us "free" people. And Let's don't stop there; outlaw motorcycles. There are safer modes of transportation that won't raise our insurance rates! Outlaw sports...
