INGO is a unique site. It's rare to find so much good information without also finding the 30 or so individuals who post everyday that think they "own" the site. On INGO all questions and opinions are treated fairly equal (whether they are good OR bad :D), no matter your post count. For a guy...
Chicago/Gary Indiana comes to mind. Detroit, LA, Sacramento, etc. The revolving door justice system is part of the problem, as is the breakdown of the family.
I went to the Muncie gun show for the first time earlier today. Parking was free be a real mess. It was packed and the snow limited the lanes. Other than that it was decent little show. Not bad for $5. Some prices were good, some silly. Typical gun show to me.
Isn't one of the criteria for a SHTF rifle that ammo be readily available? If a true disaster hits, you may not have the luxury of staying put. You may have bought 10,000 rounds of your hard to find ammo for your rifle ahead of time, but if you have to move out quickly, how much can you carry...
I had a G23 for years and loved it. Got a 27 and had nothing but good luck with it also. I'm now standarizing on G19's for the whole family and couldn't be happier. (Still need 1 more!).
That guy was me :) I had already taken Mindset Labs Intro to Force on Force, but I wanted my non-shooting wife and 16/18 year old sons to take the course. To set the stage, my wife and sons (who shoot occasionally) had little interest in carrying a gun. Its not that they were against it, but...
Glock 27 is gone, but the Colt is available. In answer to a PM, the beveled mag well is an add on from Wilson and does not modify the gun at all. It can be removed by taking off the grips and sliding it off, with no marks on the gun. A couple good offers, but none within the 1 hour drive.
Both Traded - Thanks!

I've taken both the Intro to FOF and the Flashlight Combatives class from Mindset. Excellent training. I would highly recommend attending one of Shay's classes.
I think some are missing the point of the exercise. It was NOT so they could get some cool pictures. If it was, you are correct that there is better, safer ways to get that same picture. The point was to TRAIN the individuals on the firing line. The fact that he is taking pictures is immaterial...
I'm in NC a lot. Welcome to INGO. But what are these "Glock" guns you mentioned? Is that like an XD? :):
Seriously, good buy on the FM. Nice find at a great price.
Pami, consider yourself "repped" for this one.
Until I experienced my first FOF class, I didn't understand how different it is to be a part of a real scenario played out instead of just talking about them or watching situation videos. In fact, I was completely surprised at how much it...
