Chicago headed in the right direction!

It sounds like the men and women in blue are doing a fine job over there! I go to chicago on a regular basis - and it's refreshing to see articles like this once in a while. Thanks for sharing

NYPD to scan people on the street for guns

I have this crazy idea that Americans are entitled to freedom... it seems that kind of thinking is slipping away more and more every day. This is a clear violation of our rights as private citizens - what price are we willing to pay for our security?

      Does INGO object to SOPA?

I would be all fore INGO joining the cause. Going without INGO for a day is a necessary sacrifice given what is at stake! SOPA is only the corner stone for what is to come afterward. If SOPA passes through legislation, then it opens the door for further restrictions and regulations on websites...

      Weird Pets

I have a few moon jellyfish about 2 - 3 inches in diameter. It's very relaxing to watch them swim around the tank, and they are quite easy to take care of. Great pets :D

      Man arrested for SHTF prep

Okay, so aside from building a gun range in the attic (which does seem a bit extreme to me) the news report on this topic was a farce. The news only tells us what they want us to hear - not the truth. This man is more sane than a lot of people think.

Haha, this is great! I love FPS Russia's videos - they always make me laugh. Thanks for sharing this.

      So I bought a Glock.....

You sir, are the greatest bargain shopper I've ever heard of. Buying a clock for $230 is just about unheard of - congrats! :D Glocks are pretty much indestructible, and they will eat any kind of ammo you can put through it. I have a Glock 17 with about 5000 rounds through it with no problems...

      Martin Luther King Jr.

Although I do not agree with many policies legislation has put in place over the years to safeguard African American populations, Martin Luther King was one of the greatest men of his time. He was not just a good speaker; He was a source of confidence, hope, and pride for African Americans...

Do most gun shops make you "haggle" for new guns?

I don't haggle over prices; it's just not worth the headache and frustration. If there is an item that I really want to buy, I will pay sticker price, otherwise I will move on and look for a deal elsewhere.

Are lasers worth messing with on pistols?

I'm not a avid advocate of laser sights, although I would agree that they do aid in certain situations. to me, it's just extra bulk that could otherwise be eliminated. I have a laser sight on my AR15 which I prefer in low light situations; however, I do not think they are altogether necessary...

      Guilty or Not Guilty?

To my understanding, wouldn't big Bill still be held accountable for the actions of the minor, lucky? After all, as he is the supervising adult in this situation, it seems to me that he could be charged with at least felony possession.

Ft. Wayne area meet & greet feeler thread

This is a fantastic idea. I am fairly new to INGO, and would look forward to getting more involved and getting to know some great people around the site. I'll keep my eye on this

      LC9 owners

I have been generally pleased with my LC9; I use it as my primary carry-around-the-house firearm. For the price (I paid $300 for mine), the LC9 packs a great punch! The trigger pull I find to be very light, and it's recoil very minimal. As far as accuracy goes, I have only taken mine to the...

      Police Gear Stolen

There are videos all over youtube on how to open the trunk with a screwdriver. Do they really think that criminals can't go online and look this stuff up? come on.

      Don't fight back in Massachusettes

This is absolutely sickening. I suppose if the burglar came into the house and began to rummage through your stuff, they would expect you to call the police as well. Ridiculous.

      Rise of the Indepenent Voter.

It almost seems like people vote in a strategic way, to shift the focus and direction of the country. If we would simply vote for what America stands for - Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness - I think we would have a better chance of avoiding going down the path into socialism.

      .45 Self Defense Ammo

I was leaning towards getting a box of JHP's. I think I would have more confidence in my gun, knowing that JHP's would have a higher chance of stopping a assailant. Would bonded or non-bonded ammo be more suitable? Im not really sure of the difference.
