      Carry at Disney World??

Been there more times than I can count in the last 10 years. There are no metal detectors and they only check bags and fanny packs. If you are deep concealed, then they will never know. That being said, it is about the only place in earth where I can legally carry that I do not feel I need...

      Carry at Disney World??

I can't find anything :dunno: The crime rates in Kissimme and Orlando are kind of ugly, but to find much of anything relating to violent crime inside one of the parks or resort hotels is almost nonexistent. It is either very safe or they have a very tight lock down on bad press getting out.

Tell the Middle East to Burn in...

It's too bad they will not publish the genetic sequence used, then it is a simple matter of transfection of the bacterium and harvesting the product. I wish they would even publish it as part of a patent, just so it would not die when the company gets bought out or otherwise silenced.

      Is This a Threat?

The government already sent me my coupon for a complimentary anal probe and colonoscopy, I thought they were just being nice or that it was part of Obamacare?

Tell the Middle East to Burn in...

You may be right. They still have some technical issues that will have to be worked out during scale up as well that will require more working capital. I sure do wish I could get my hands on the genetic sequence used to modify the cyanobacterium to produce the hydrocarbons. I bet that is a...

Tell the Middle East to Burn in...

If this works, it would give us the tools to tell the Middle East to burn in their own oil. If true the implications of this little engineered organism will be nothing short of revolutionary. Mass. company making diesel with sun, water, CO2 - Yahoo! News

      Is This a Threat?

I got the same reply, did not interpret it as any sort of threat towards me but as a method to show pressure on the TSA to explain themselves.

      Glock Heroes Program Locations?

I was being a smart ass to some extent but also believe that using TSA agent and Hero in the same sentence should be a crime.

      Recommend a reasonably priced 1911

RIA, SA, Taurus, and PA are all pretty good with SA being slightly better in my humble opinion.

      Indiana Democrat Legislators Hide Out

Seems like a sound idea, maybe some one should write it down...oh, wait a minute, someone beat me too it a couple hundred years ago.

      Indiana Democrat Legislators Hide Out

What bothers me about what the Dems are doing though is this take my ball and go home mentality. Regardless if they think they are right there is a process for lawmaking regardless of which side of the aisle one comes from. By shutting it all down just because they don't like the bill sets a...

Just can't seem to find love for XD40

I have personally found that if you like the Glock, you will only be lukewarm with the XD and vice versa. Even though they are both very good makes and designs, they grip angle and other differences make them feel different. I personally like the XD (I love the 1911) and never could warm up to...

      Review: Kimber Pro CDP II

Very similar to how I feel about my Ultra Crimson Carry II. I love the gun but the stock mag is embarrassing. I would rather them not even include one that let me believe that the one included is worth wasting bullets in. I also went with the Kimber Pro Mags and have not had a problem since...

Saiga 12 video, surprising slo mo revelation.

Never would have thought to use the charge handle as a "brass" deflector. Pretty cool, thanks for posting up the footage.

      My First AR 15

So CQB home defense is highly unlikely and you want to shoot out to 300'ish yards. What is your budget? Edit: Going to bed, but take a look at this. It is reasonably priced, will work well out to the limits of the rifle, is getting very good reviews, and Primary Arms is GREAT to deal with...

      Build: Jolly AR-15

I have not tried the TiN myself, but from what I have read it is not a "slick" as the chrome and is more difficult for the manufacturer to apply evenly and completely than either the chrome or the other advanced coatings used such as Nickel Boron. Also, TiN will be less forgiving to your...
