      I can't back this from a legal stand point, but from my experience firearm transactions have always been called in separately and documented separately as well. The FFL has to track incoming firearms to log, as well as transferred firearms, so I would guess each will need to be done...

      Why the .40 ?

      I'm not gonna argue a recoil difference between calibers, however has anyone else noticed that recoil is very subjective and greatly effected by the gun of choice??? Personally, from my own experience, .40 out of ANY HK is not the same when compared to .40 out of say a glock. This isn't bashing...

      Why are so many people scared of "cocked and locked"?

      I would venture to guess it's lack of education more than anything...cause you know, the gun wasn't DESIGNED to be carried that way :n00b::rolleyes: Personally the only thing I have been "scared" of with a "cocked and locked" gun is me being able to disengage the safety quickly without fumbling...

      H&K P30 V2 ?

      From what I've heard the V2 is a pretty sweet trigger. The pull weight comes in just about 7lbs. You can swap to a to a V1 trigger style which I believe will lighten it up to about 4.5lbs.
