      anyone use a mosin nagant on coyotes?

      regardless of what people think i should do, i am going to hunt yotes this winter with the mosin nagant 91/30. i would just like to know the damage from the 7.62x54 rnd on a yote. i wouldnt mind seeing a pic if it isnt to graphic for the site

      What to do with a BEAT Mosin 91/30?

      I'd say that mosin is just as good as one in excellent just so long as it shoots. I only say that because you don't have to worry bout hurting it. Keep the nice gun for the range, hunting, or showin off. Take that beat up ole mosin in the woods, camping or where ever and store it anywhere...

      Mosin Nagant 91/30 rear sight scope mount

      I have a 1943 mosin nagant 91/30. Bought the rail from combathunting.com. Put over 1k rnds and have never had to tighten the rail. I use it for coyote hunting and for contests with a few buddies. Also have a bipod and monte carlo stock. Shoots extremely accurate with brass reloads.

      If you feel confident using a .22 then do it. I would just make sure you can keep a 4" group at 100 yrds using exactly what you will be hunting with.
