      Dick's Sporting Goods asked for my birthday, checked my ID (I think), and had me answer a question on the credit card screen: "Are you a US citizen?" How do they verify that?

      Gun Store Manners, what causes you to lose sales.

      I went in to a gun shop recently and wanted to buy a specific gun, but since it was our first gun and not a gun for self-defense (one of the reasons we were purchasing) they didn't seem to want to sell it to me. Got the run around on the phone as well. So I guess I will just have to buy it...

      Conceal and carry permit

      We also, did the online application and inkless fingerprinting. We had to wait a little over a week to schedule a meeting with the Sheriff in Carmel after fingerprinting (for a first time license). Then the lifetime licenses came in about a week.
