Found an IED in the vehicle. This is a bit more conspiratorial than usual, but was the plan to get off the roof and go back to the vehicle? (tin foil hat on) Would the IED have detonated if he returned to the vehicle? Bad guy gets smoked by his own IED, materials match what is found in the home. Case closed.

If the would-be assassin was successful, but got blown up by his own IED. Lone wolf who was bullied in school, received a STEM award upon graduating HS (mentioned a number of times) so making explosives is not a reach, neither is getting himself blown up. Only 20 year old without a huge electronic footprint.

Seems like a bit of a stretch, but so does just showing up with the right size ladder to get on a roof 130 yards away.
Maybe the IED was part of plan B, or Plan C, in case he got made before he got out of the van. I'd have to think you'd expect the distinct possibility that you'd be found out before you even got parked. Even if the kid had made one or more recon trips to the site, days, or weeks before, in the middle of the night, scouting the area, he'd have no real way of knowing how difficult it might be to execute any plan on the day of the event. I wonder if he was genuinely surprised that he actually made it to his spot with time to shoot.

I thought that was a revised later to indicate the had materials for an explosive device....which could be a pop bottle and a can of gas.

Honestly tho… is it a “her” or is this another example of who we see as the top is really answering to someone behind the scenes. We all know Biden isnt running the show. And I doubt all these diversity hires that are in top positions are running their department either.

    All a show.

    Just a thought.

What if there was a trained sniper say back 500+ yards who actually took the shot at Trump but hit his ear because he turned his head.
Said sniper used the same caliber as the patsy shooter, waited for him to start shooting. Patsy sprayed the crowd, got taken out, and took the blame.
That would never be proven, yet a possibility.

Will they continue to try to assassinate Trump?
I do not for one second believe that kid was able to pull that off even with team waterboy as Trumps Secret Service detail without inside help.

Seen this reply on a friend's FB post. So now it was the Republicans who tried to kill Trump. I have hidden his name but he is a candidate for Dubois County council at large according to his FB page and a big Biden supporter.

Or, it sounds like a guy that the Dems told to vote in the Repub primary, to try to Primary out Trump.

And then he donated to the side he's really for.

Dude doesnt understand primary tampering. Kid put his money where his mouth (was).

I'll do free :poop: all day to screw with my opponent. But I'm not about to donate a dime to somebody I disagree with.
I know I'm preaching to the choir, but both sides cross register so they can poison the well and try to get a weaker opponent selected in a primary so they have an easier job in November.

Looked at the picture. Appears to be a mid 90’s either Silverado or 1500 Blazer/Tahoe. Don’t know the height of the building, but a 10-12’ ladder could conceivably fit in a Tahoe. Had a 2000 Tahoe that could carry a full sheet of drywall and still had space.
In the 48 hours before he opened fire on former President Donald Trump, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks made a series of stops in and around his suburban Pittsburgh hometown.

On Friday, he went to a shooting range where he was a member, and practiced firing, a law enforcement official told CNN. The next morning, Crooks went to a Home Depot, where he bought a five-foot ladder, and a gun store, where he purchased 50 rounds of ammunition, the official said.

Then, Crooks drove his Hyundai Sonata about an hour north, joining thousands of people from around the region who flocked to Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He parked the car outside the rally, with an improvised explosive device hidden in the trunk that was wired to a transmitter he carried, the official said. Then, investigators believe, he used his newly-bought ladder to scale a nearby building, and opened fire on the former president.
Looks like he drove a sedan.

looks like we have a narrative issue. This is the vehicle they claimed the night of the shooting on Fox with the explosive device. or worse...a second at large person. This image is 100% not of a Hyundai Sonata and it is the one the bomb squad cleared.

"The Journal said authorities dispatched bomb technicians after police received multiple reports of suspicious packages near where the shooter was located.

The newspaper's sources added that investigators remained at the scene well into the night to make sure it was clear."

Also the fact he carried a 5ft extension ladder and put it on the building, while carrying a rifle with a team supposedly on watch in the building AND officers actively looking for him for 23+ minutes(how long it was from when he was first noticed and his picture taken) it is insane he got on that roof.
