I cannot imagine the pain his sorry butt would cause due to his absent minded reactions like wandering off early, comparing his own minor tribulations to their life changing events, sniffing some victim's granddaughter, etc.

Biden: "Jill and I were just talking this morning about how scary it was on UA flight 175 that morning. Everyone started screaming as we barreled toward the south tow..."

KJP: "... thanks Mr. President, that concludes today's remarks. There will be no Q&A."

Oh, I'll never forget. Posted this Sunday night after dinner.

    Talk about a gut punch.
I'm on the road tonight. And I knew that 9/11 is this week. But I didnt give it much thought this far out still.
I was sitting in the bar waiting on my food scrolling through social media. My ribs arrived so I set my phone down and started to eat. Too messy to continue scrolling.
I took my first bite of my ribs. As I looked up, I saw a vaguely familiar face on the screen. Then firefighters in NYC inspecting a manhole. Seconds later, I see the first plane hit the towers. 60 Minutes was running a special edition on the event.

    OOF!
I immediately lost my appetite. I tried pushing through but it was no use. I finished my beer and got my food to go. I'll eat it later.
I was not expecting that at all. Especially after all these years.

I worked at an air carrier on 9/11. Yes, this date hits hard.

I turned to the history channel last night and a special was running in a loop on 9/11. I didn't make it through the whole show.

I hate to admit it but I’d almost forgot this was almost upon us. I remember exactly where I was on that day.
It’s burned in my Memory, sadly there are those that deny it ever happened. I guess if you tell people something often enough they believe it. Joe Biden is a great President, no second thought not so much.

The fact that the anniversary is 8 years more than the age I was at the time it happened makes me wonder where the time went and feel old(I know 38 isn't that old, don't all shake your fists at the sky at once, ya geezers:lmfao:)
