What is this thing? It looks like the old cap guns we used to get.

All my friends laugh when I pull out my Glock 19C
Is that what the kids call it these days?
Right there with you ........I have 2 of the P95`s .Any of the Ruger P-series I have (especially the P89)
"Ugly"
"Heavy"
"Old"
(Maybe they were describing me?)
Also:
Accurate enough
Inexpensive
Unerringly reliable with ANY ammo
My first gun was a Bersa Thunder UC 9. Honestly it hasn't been all that reliable. I do still have it for sentimental reasons but I rarely shoot it.a friend has one of those. nifty lil gun.
9mm is as low as i want to go. but if i find a good deal on a bersa i'll snag it
Bersa is Spanish for broken firing pin.My first gun was a Bersa Thunder UC 9. Honestly it hasn't been all that reliable. I do still have it for sentimental reasons but I rarely shoot it
I most definitely have had to replace the firing pin.Bersa is Spanish for broken firing pin.

That's my cheap favorite tooHeritage Rough Rider.
Looks like something that was made to the same quality spec as a toy from a gumball machine. Has a pretty good trigger and is surprisingly accurate.
I have several of the P89, P93, P94 (including one with the integral factory laser) and P95, all in the DC flavor. Got the first one back in the early 90s, when there weren't so many choices. Cheapest was a P94DC police turn-in with night sights, $180.Right there with you ........I have 2 of the P95`s .
They were built like tanks .........( as big as ,and as heavy as one )
Not many like them , but it is hard to find a bad review on one .
I shoot mine a lot. In the summer I use CCI shot shells and pepper wood bees out of the air with it.I love mine too. I bought another LR cylinder for it just for 22 shorts. That way I don't have to deal with the lead build up and then trying to get the LRs in and out.
If you haven't done it yet, take every screw out and put a dab of blue thread locker on it. I had a few fall out after some use.
No issues since.
I realize now I did not pay attention to the title. It clearly says Handgun.Mine is a hi-point 9mm carbine. I have a whole $30 in it, and it's fun.
