Had a chiropractor appointment Friday. She is from Minnesota and said schools had already been canceled Monday state wide. We just got the call for our school this afternoon.

At this point Pike County schools are still open but I expect that to change.

I just got a call from my boss. We're not working tomorrow. I've shown up for work before and management decided to send everyone home, but this is the first time they have called the day before and said don't come in.

^^^THIS^^^ is what I'll get. Funny stuff. Last time we had weather like this, I drove down to Bluffton in a Level 1 snow emergency just to make some equipment training.

I've been working at IU since those little SOB's have been on Christmas break. IU has closed down today, so there's no point in me going in. I'll take an extra day off.

Warmed up the car and scraped off the ice. Got gas and breakfast, heading to work when I hear they canceled the shift I was going in for. It's cold but nothing on the roads..oh well. Wish I hadn't done my bi-annual gun cleaning yesterday now, not sure what I'll do today.

There was such a big build up about this latest round of weather, I think everyone got a little gun shy. Where I live, we got almost nothing compared to what was being forecast last week.

I am working from home today but will be going in tomorrow(won't be any warmer). Columbus got nothing compared to what we were supposed to. Its mainly due to the cold. I cleared my truck off and drove a couple miles then changed my mind.
