The gun control advocates keep saying "we want all your guns". Somewhere in between those extremes has to be a workable solution.
Learn the art of compromise? I already know well how to compromise.
Not knowing how is not the problem, most compromise far too easily when they really shouldn't simply because they are conflict averse.
I reject your notion that an extreme position cannot be the absolute best position to defend from against attempted infringements.
How much are you willing to cede to me (compromise) on this point to find a workable solution? My solution (not budging an inch, in this case) requires nothing further to work. Anything I cede would only serve to cripple it in some way.
