I think the socialization aspects would be the most interesting parts.
There are already concerns that people are becoming more withdrawn due to technology; how does this impact the family dynamic?
Why date and worry about potential accusations of rape, or college-mandated checklists for consent, when you can just have a bot?
Perhaps it's all a plot to lower the birth rate . . . But it will actually lead to Idiocracy, because the only people breeding will be those too poor/unintelligent to acquire bots.
So how long till a politician proposes bots for all? ObamaCare, ObamaPhones . . . TrumpBots . . .?
The holodeck will be mankind's last invention. We better have robots to work the power plants....
