Cherry 2000 also had a kinda hot chick in a kinda hot car, plus rocket launchers and explosions...I still remember watching that movie as a teenager. Back then, Channel 4 on Saturday afternoons would show 2 or 3 obscure "B" movies and sometimes one of them was actually worth watching
