I should walk away from this thread, which I clicked on thinking it was going to be about female shooters, instead of gun bunny porn, but I can't. Gentlemen and I use that term loosely here, I am disappointed. This is the exact reason why women find it difficult to go to the shooting range. Why women are reluctant to ask for assistance when it come to firearms. Why it is difficult to be taken seriously as a competitive shooter.

Say what you want, hurl insults at me for pointing this out, I don't care. I won't post in here again. Just seriously think about what I have said. Do you want to objectify women, or do you want women to be empowered by being not just a gun owner, but a competent shooter? Are you helping the firearms community or hurting it by posting this?

It took three iterations of the thread and hundreds of pages to finally upset you? She's over your shoulder, isn't she?

I like to think that I post a wide variety of images in this thread, that are not just scantily clad ladies (without using the term loosely).

I am a responsible gun owner, and I help other people not as well versed in firearms understand the culture and appeal of our community and the Second Amendment. So in the totality of circumstances I like to think that I do more to welcome new shooters than not. What you see here on INGO is a small part of what each of us does, based on a shared interest, where our posting takes priority on topics based on limited available time, so is not a true reflection of our personalities and intentions.

That being said, as a community driven page, I am happy to make accommodations for the more engaged community members posting in this thread. You have very right to join in this thread and post the type of content that you believe is appropriate, or you can attempt to shame us into following your particular moral standards, or lobby to have this shut down. There are topics on INGO I might object to, or individuals I might take issue with, so I do not engage with that content, confident that the moderators and staff are enforcing the rules fairly and equitably. As far as I am aware no rules are being broken in this thread, and I will endeavor to stay within the structure that the moderators and staff have graciously allowed the community to enjoy.

In this I have to say we do watch and remove what crosses the lines. Even in comments.
In this I have the deepest respect for Rayne. She is a very active 2A supporter and a championship shooter of note. Very accomplished. And she is OK in giving her opinions on this. I see it.

That said, everyone of these lady's poses for and allows these images to be shared. So the argument could be made both ways. Some are a push. Some are not. Same as the fishing thread. I am more interested in the smiles and the glow of beauty than some of the other parts.....:nailbite:......But I am getting older.

Know we are watching. Know that comments and pics are reviewed daily so keep it real fellas.

Hi Rayne. I respect you and your opinion here and fully understand what you're saying.
This Forum is clearly not a good ole boys club, but also clearly has more male participants.
I sincerely hope you remain with Ingo as there is so much more here.

By the way, your Aussie (hope I am right) is a truly great looking dog. I have a mini one and they are phenomenal.

    ...Same as the fishing thread.
I respect her opinion too. To add fishing thread wise, I live 2 minutes from the beach and roughly 80%+ of female beach goers wear that attire. Those are the styles and norm that have been around for a few years now (some go past those styles too-which my wife is fast to point out).

rayne you are entitled to voice your opinion on this free open to the public forum, as a guy, I like these threads, if you look back through the other 2 threads (and this one also) yes, there are a lot of gun bunnies, a lot of staged photos, and some of the models don't know anything about guns (fingers on the triggers) but there are quite a few pics of guys posting pics of their wives and daughters holding and shooting guns, on my facebook page there are pics of my daughter shooting.

now what I detest, the videos and pics of improper form, jokes about female shooters, and the videos of ladies being hurt with a firearm (like the one where the girl is shooting the 50 cal desert eagle, you know the one, everybodys seen it), its hard enough to get ladies involved in shooting, we don't need "jackass" style videos and pictures scaring away new shooters.

a friend posted a compilation video on fb of that crap, I laid into him with both barrels! how could you do this, this isn't what the gun community needs, how would you feel if your granddaughter was in that video!...you know who defended his post??? ladies, females, girls!!!, they thought it was funny.

and I bet, that more than one of the models in the pictures in these threads has gained a passion for shooting just by being a "gun bunny"

Rayne, I hope that my intentions in my earlier post were clear, and that no offence was meant or intended. I hope that you, and many others on this forum, will continue to share your knowledge, wisdom, and perspective with the community here, making us more than the sum of our parts.
