I was wondering the same thing. The comments on whatever /b/ is don't look good, though. There is certainly a line we should not cross...taking a video viral I'm okay with; threatening her, though, I am not.

I didn't see this recent link to this /b/. But I agree with you. I was all for just putting it on youtube and getting the word out a bit. But it has gone a bit too far with some of the places it has gone. I hope it gets taken down soon.

He hates his life and is mad at the world because he mated with a wart hog. He is now stuck with the swine and only has a few outs. Jail or a prison sentence or possibly death. He figures "whats the point of divorce?" he will still be stuck with her until the kid or kids are 18.

No I do not feel good about it, when it was just you-tube and a few views then maybe she would have come clean. Now the original poster is posting in other places and the comments are WAY out of line.

The punishment no longer fits the crime...

I have pm'd the poster and asked that he take the you-tube video down.

The comments are way out-of-line. Any comments with threats other than notifying law enforcement should be deleted immediately.

What is really laughable is I bet 75% of those making fun of her weight are overweight themselves.

/b/. is the Random image board of 4Chan.org. You do not want to hang out there. /b/ is the hangout of Anonymous, an internet army of epic proportions (in their minds). They are not above wreaking vengeance on people who have slighted puppies, kittens and kids (as in this case). If there is a way to go overboard with it, they'll do it. (Currently members of /b/ are calling this woman and harassing her). It'll likely get worse. Much worse.
4Chan isn't actually that bad a place, if you ignore /b/. Their wallpaper section /wg/ is quite nice and varies on a daily basis. Nice pics of weapons can be found on /k/.

If by harm you the Offender's reputation , she made her choice and deserves some light shed onto her actions .
But if by Harm you mean Physical , then that should never happen to her and I agree with you .

There are people who can and will make anyone's life miserable solely for their own amusement, if that person appears on their radar screen. Imagine truckloads of porn emailed to your work account. Or your phone number being listed as a sex line. Or your/your wife's/your daughter's head photoshopped into a porn picture/video and distributed widely -- say, your wife's head in a porn video that somehow shows up at your kids' school on all the computers. Imagine denial-of-service attacks against your phone or possibly even your internet connection. All of these things can happen with the right information, and I'm not even getting really creative. For the people who do this sort of thing, doing it doesn't require that much effort.

I meant physical harm. We have death threats over NASCAR wrecks so you never know what some wack job will do as a result of this frenzy.

If I were in the op's shoes this lady would be no longere considered family if she refused to come clean. She isn't worth one ounce of effort she is getting now. People like her will end up paying for their actions in the long run.

What he said. 4chan is just message board like this, but much larger and with wider interest. One particular interest group on that board is /b/stard. Everything FLetch says is true. I've glanced at their thread from time to time and they already have several people talking about calling her # and harrassing her. Other have suggested taking a literal dump in her mail box etc. you get the idea. Once the mob mentality starts with the ability stay anonymous it can not end well.

OP, I hope you're 100% (or as they say on the Maury show, 2 million percent) sure that what you think went down was EXACTLY what happened. She's NOT happy right now...all you have to do is read that bulletin on 4chan to understand why.
