You've been here since March...and you don't know how INGO works? Go ahead and try to completely delete something you've posted.

It was a menstruation joke. Do you leave your period laying about? Didn't think so.

Anyway, there's no way I'm touching anyone's period, so I don't expect the Mods to do it.

That was supposed to be a joke?
I don't know what the hell you were aiming at, but you missed.

Hoo Boy, OC if you want to, I once saw "Store Security" at X-mas time about seven years ago at TOYS R US (castleton Square) wearing a shoulder rig with two .25 auto Lorcins under his arms..............You would have thought the way he acted like he was IRON MIKE of the 82nd ABN.

I appreciate your right to OC, prefer to CC myself, and I too will probably steer clear of you in a store. I am not afraid of anyone, guns surely dont make me nervous, people do, so I end up the guy behind you at Wal-Mart, looking over your Lorcins, gold plated Desert Eagle, and or Ed Brown .45. I hope you think the big fat ugly bald dude behind you has a Glock .40 on him. "SOMEWHERE".

This thread is not an attack on CCers.

We don't attack CCers here on INGO. CCers get attacked in the real world.

This thread is intended to discuss various reasons of why CC is not for us.

If you are a CCer reading this, you may want to avert your eyes, lest this turn into a shouting match. We've already won that argument.

    Here goes.

    1. OC is so much more comfortable.

    2. OC works a a crime deterrent.

    3. I am not an undercover cop trying to trick you into attacking me so I can yell "Surprise!" and shoot you.

    4. OC gives people an opportunity to ask questions and learn about gun laws.

    5. OC desensitizes the sheeple, and they learn that guns aren't evil, oppressive tyrannical totalitarian socialist governments are.

    6. OC gives me an opportunity to meet friends who would have otherwise not known that I carry.

    7. It make me look bada**.

    8. I'm an attention whore.

    No offense taken.
I support 100% anyone who chooses to OC.
I choose to CC per items 4 & 8 above.

I'm a shy private person by nature and just don't feel I have the mindset to answer questions or debate or verbally rationalize to strangers about why I OC.

Perhaps it's a certain mental training or knowledge that one must possess to feel comfortable to OC? Or one simply likes to verbally discuss/educate and answer questions about guns to strangers.

    Carry on.

For all the posting I see about situational awareness on INGO, I can't believe this argument continues to perpetuate itself.

Situational awareness begins in the morning when I put my pants on! I determine where I am going during the day, the type of work I will be doing, who I may encounter, and under what circumstances.

Based on that information, I decide whether to wear dress or work clothes, boxers or briefs, boots or tennis shoes, and whether to OC or CC.

None of you knows my background, training, life circumstance, or schedule. I don't see how you would be qualified to tell me how to dress in the morning. That includes which holster I put on.:bash:

For the record, I both OC and CC (often at the same time, since the BUG is always CC). There are compelling reasons for both based on the situation, but the important part is that you are able to defend yourself if neccesary. I don't really care how you got your firearm there. Do what works for you.
