yep, Streamlight is a great mfg. My Strion C4 LED got dropped in about 6" of water, I picked it up, shook it, wiped it down, no issues. Opened it up to double check, and no moisture had gotten past any of the o rings.
I compared most readily available two cell CR123A cell powered LED lights for my new EDC and ended up choosing a Streamlight PolyTac. Affordable, $20 less then the next equivilent light of the same size power and weight.
I plan on purchasing more.
My last was an Inova brand which is still a great light but much different.
Big +1 for Streamlight!! Have had my microstrem for over a year now and just love it! Awesome little EDC light and works great. Nothing but good experiences with all streamlight products here!
I have been using the same Streamlight Stylus at work for over two years. It has been dropped in oil pan, ran over, and just abused on a daily basis. If I am at work it is in my shirt pocket. I can't work without it.
My Fire Department uses nothing but Streamlights. They get the snot kicked out of them and still work great. I bought my own personal light and it is a Streamlight!
I just got my Streamlight Microstream today. I am very impressed with it, especially for it's size. I am already looking at other lights. I think it may be a new addiction.
I love my Streamlights. I have three of them now, all purchased in the last few weeks. PT2L, Polytac LED, and a Microstream. All built very well and there are no complaints from me yet.
