Just curious... what is a 'Firearms Examiner'? Sorry if this should be obvious....
I believe they ensure that the exhibit firearms on display have been disabled. From the NRA website:
FIREARMS EXAMINERS:
Firearms examiners examine all the firearms in the exhibit hall. Volunteers must have a vast working knowledge of firearms and are required to fill out a registration form. This venue is on Thursday evening late into the evening and Friday morning. Some volunteers are used throughout the event to double check.
Usually check to make sure the firing pin is either removed or ground short
Anyone else get the email yesterday from Gayle that they have too many people signed up to work the air gun range? Seems she looked at getting 24 per shift and just realized that it was only 12 per shift they needed but she is going to try to use 16, some people planning to volunteer are not going to be doing it now.
