Who's ready to go fishing???

My 4 year old is super stoked to go. Last time we went was early last year, and "he" caught a 6" largemouth.

I would absolutely love to get into a nice mess of crappie this year. I haven't had them in a looooong time.

I miss jug fishing for catfish, but Indiana has strict regulations, we use to have 50 per person, and they were OK anywhere. We use to cast net and catch dozens of live bream, hook, and sink them in Percy Priest. Caught a monster 50 pound flat head using 100lb nylon line. It's scary at times, when your line snaps, imagine what was on the end of it? Don't know what I would do with a fish that snaps 100lb test line.

Here you can only have 5 per person, and you can't have them on lakes or reservoirs! What load of crap

No taking the boat out for me tomorrow as the inlet on the fuel pump broke clean off. Everything was going good too until I went to prime the motor. Gas everywhere!

Yeah, just have to order the part. Doubt the shop close to me keeps anything like that in stock. Hopefully I can order just the piece with the inlet/outlets on it and not the entire pump. I probably won't get that lucky.

I took a little ride, down by the water, today. Seen two bank fishermen and two boats. I spoke with 3 of the four and they had nothin. All were wearing coats and looked ch-ch-chilly. I was quite cool in the filtered sunshine on the XT600.
