If I could change anything, I would not have gotten out on Sept 1, 2001, but then again, no one would have guessed what would happen on the 11th. Since going in, Im glad that I have been able to deploy and if I didnt have a medical problem now, I would be out with my troops again. Guess I should be glad that it happened when it did, cause holy crap this has beaten me pretty good, but at least Im back in Indiana, and you guys and gals all make me proud to call this state my home state. Thank you all for your service as well

USAF, METNAV at Grissom 87-91..Joined the military to get out of Indiana and they sent me to Grissom.. I loved every second of my time in the Air Force and still do the same job for the FAA. This is a great thread..

5 years USN I was medically retired from my injuries I obtained over seas. I was planing on staying in for the rest of my life It was the greatest job in the world. I loved every moment over it.

I see a couple of others that were 2nd Cav. Did 2 tours, 1982-1984 G Troop and 1988-1991 HHT
