My duty GLOCK 34 with a 33 round Glock magazine loaded with Federal 9mm +P+ 115 grain Jhp's. It has an insight wx150 light on the rail. I have used this load to savemy life and every shooting we have had at the PD with it has ended with the threat being eliminated fast. Also a 590 A1 with a surefire forend and a Hogue 12.5" Stock over the fireplace.

Where do you do your duty work at? I've not heard of a 34 being approved for carry..... and all current duty (primary) weapons I am familiar with are no less than 40 cal....

I have a few different handguns throughout our home that are all completely loaded. There are never any kids that come over, so it is pretty safe. To answer your actual question: My Glock 20 10mm, completely loaded with one in the chamber. It's the best shooting weapon I have.

As an alert and response system, I have:

1) a lab, who will run and hide behind my wife
2) a doberman, who will wiggle, and lick an intruder, at least to the point of annoyance
3) a cocker-spaniel, who will make a lot of noise, but has to stay in a crate, because she is a pi$$quick
4) an engraved lower
5) a prepared speech, on the topic of, "Man, if you would have just waited six months, I would have wasted you in such an epic, CQB manner!"
6) or, 20rds of Q3131, out of a 16" tube. then, 20rds of XM193, just to be brand EO. then, 20 Mk318, in case he gets to his car. and, of course, 20 XM855, in case his car is armored. then, 20 XM856, in case it's dark. then 20 75gr TAP T2, in case he get's a little ways away. then, I have to go to the basement to retrieve the 30rounders, loaded with a hodge-podge, in which case I'll be pretty nervous that I'm using the wrong round for the application.
7) as a last resort, I'll toss the chamber pot at him

This alternating ammo thing, is that so that you can have an alternating POI (head & chest), without shifting your POA? Clever.
