TSHTF while my 14 yr old son is at school and I cannot get to him... Still trying to come up with a good plan here, as I know the school will go on lockdown.
My biggest fear is things going south before I am able to get the family into a house. Currently we live in an apartment. Basically things going bad before I've had enough time to adequately prep. Only recently started.
My biggest fear is my kids and grandkids living in a country that is no longer free. I used to only worry about the grandkids, but it seems to me that the timeline is moving faster than I thought possible. I'm being to fear that even us seasoned citizens will experience it.
Why would you bother fearing that? A natural disaster on the scale of an extinction level event cant be survived by anyone, by definition. No point in wasting time fretting over it or even giving an ELE space in your mindscape that could be better occupied by worthwhile concerns.
separated from family, Seems like everyone has a place to go if SHTF. being new to Indiana not having a place to go to that isnt densely populated. Then again we came from South florida and thats about as populated as it gets. not having enough supplies. Only just started. Have some solar panels and battery backups for basic night lights. Goal Zero stuff.
