I think I have two favorites. The 32V 4.6L V8 in the '03-'04 Mustang Cobra's and Mach 1's. Headers, X-pipe and Borla exhaust. Those things give me chills.
The other one, and I'll prepare for the flaming, is the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel in the '99-'03 Ford Super Duty. No fancy exhaust, just 6" straight pipe all the way back. I love it so much, it's probably borderline sinful.

The new Vette's. Especially the Z-06.

Nieghbor has a souped up 4.6 Mustang and yes, it is a joy to hear him ring it out past my house.

I understand the new Hellcats sound pretty sweet.

I like it deep......sounding. A non-baffled thru-hull exhaust on a big block powered boat is heaven. The water in the exhaust flow takes the "rasp" out.

    .
Big block Mopar, big Holley, high duration cam, headers, and the right exhaust. From the rasp of the air going down to the low thumping rumble at idle, it's the great old school sound.

Love my 7.3 Powerstroke. I have a 5" exhaust and a cold air intake. The combination of the V-8 rumble, the diesel rattle and the turbo sucking in air under a load is just great.

Come to think about it... The sound of the turbocharged, air-cooled, 900 hp V-12 diesel in a M60A3 tank from my distant memory is bad as hell.

From the 2 wheel type. A Yamaha V-Max with a good set of pipes. I love the rumble.

THANK YOU!!!! I love the rumble too! Go thru a parking garage and see how many car alarms go off... MEH!

I was going to post that but did not want to offend any one ( I ride a 97 v-max with a Marks 4-2 stainless system, to those that dont know, google it if you like, sounds stock car ish but more mellow) I love mine but give me a classic big block with timing gears and glass pack.... also have a stock powerstroke 7.3 that I like the sound of, any turbo diesel, CAT with stacks is awesome... my neighbor as a kid had a transtar 2 with stacks and I loved to hear that start up in the morning..

I love the sound of the older 5.0 Mustangs, they sound great.

And as a Mopar guy, a 383 or 440 with Flowmasters is hard to beat.
