I a book or 2 will be on there and I know a Ka-Bar Becker BK2 Campanion will be on there. Past that, I'm thinking a large flashlight to keep in my truck and a small flashlight to keep on me. Might throw in some AR tools or maybe some choke tubes.

The thing I really want is a 6 pack of midget strippers.

All I want for Christmas is some surgery to fix my six (3 T's & 3 L's) ruptured disks.

Well, at least this is something I can act like one of Santa's elves on and give you a suggestion.

After much research, and consultation with our insurance company, I seem to have stumbled onto the most fabulous group Orthopedic Dr's in the entire state of IN, and possibly the entire Midwest as well! They actually took the 2010 Award of Excellence for all the Orthopedic Facilities in the entire US. Their name is:

    Ortho/Indy
Bone, Joint, Spine & Muscle Care
    8450 Northwest Blvd.
    Indianapolis, IN 46278
    317-802-2000
    800-223-3381

(That is just 1 of their many facilities, they have several, but it's where I go, and know the doctors personally.)

My Spine Dr, is Dr. Deets, my Hip Dr. is Dr. Marr, and my Foot Dr./ Specialist is Dr. Daniel Lehman, and in my opinion, they are "gods among men"! (note, small g) Dr. Lehman is the the one who did my foot surgery, and to say we were highly impressed and extremely pleased with the ENTIRE experience, can't even come close to expressing how we feel, not only with him, but the assisting doctors, all his nurses, and the actual Hospital itself. It was awesome! They did the surgery correctly, efficiently, and with far less pain than I expected.

The doctors at Ortho/Indy have made FANTASTIC strides in helping me deal with other Orthopedic issues, and have corrected as much of the other existing issues that they possibly can. I'll be facing further surgery, and most likely a spine fusion, but that can't be averted. At least I know from experience that I'll be getting the BEST care around.

So please, before you settle for anyone else to do what work/surgery is needed, I can't urge you strongly enough to make an appointment to see either Dr. Deets, his PA Travis Welch, or one of the other Back Specialists at Ortho/Indy. That way at least you can rest assured that you will receive the BEST of care, with as few, if any, complications. The Doctors at Orthy/Indy in our opinion, WALK ON WATER! And you couldn't be in more capable and compassionate hands anywhere else in the entire country, bar none!

I hope this helps you have a better Christmas, and if I can be of further help, please feel free to PM me for more details. Until you do have your surgery, you'll definitely be in our prayers. Especially since finding the Doctors Ortho/Indy were an answer to ours!

Regards, and an early Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the suggestion 7th Stepper! I'll ask my PCP to set me up an appointment there & get a consultation to see what all they can do to help me out.

Getting some relief from all of this pain would be a very nice Christmas present.

Not a problem, I'm glad I could help. If you're anywhere in Tippe Co, PM me and I can give you the name of a fantastic and well qualified Pain Management Dr as well. I adore her, and she's very compassionate as well!

Good luck, and I guarantee that you'll LOVE it at Orthy/Indy. They're also covered by most of the bigger Ins Co's, as well as Medicare, so that's not an issue either.

Good luck, I know exactly what type of pain you're talking about! I kept asking Bill to just shoot me before I finally found the good docs, just to put me out of my misery!

    [eldirector].......a new safe.

Most of the stuff I can't help you with, but if you want a really well built, First Class, theft proof, water and fire resistant, high quality gun safe, go where we did to get ours. He's a vender on here, his name is Jeff Johnson, and his company is called Johnson Safes. He's out of Zionsville.

There a bit pricey, but WELL worth the money. We used part of our tax return to buy Bill one, and it not only holds all his (and my) guns and ammo, it's got room in it for all our legal papers, as well as for MY most important collection......my Jewelry! It's not small, but it's waterproof, fireproof up to 2500 degrees,(possibly more, maybe someone on here can answer that one, or Bill can when he gets home) and air tight. In my opinion they're burglar proof as well. Once we move it to exactly where we want it, Jeff will come back out and bolt it to the cement foundation of the house for us. It'd definitely be a good place to store your guns, extra ammo, and whatever else is valuable in a SHTF situation. I say it's burglar proof because if you enter in the combination wrong 3 times in a row, it locks itself down and Jeff has to come out and drill it open, then install a new lock and combination. So be careful about putting in the combination correctly. I don't fiddle with ours, I'll mess it up in a heartbeat, I let Bill handle that part. But a combination isn't the only lock system he offers, there's a touch pad, and one of two more. I'd give you Jeff's phone #, but I'm not sure of it off the top of my head. I'm sure somewhere on INGO you can find out all the info you'll need to make your decision. The Mods might have it as well. He always has a booth at the 1500, and sells home made, seriously GOOD candy too!

    Happy Holidays (seriously early!)

When they get to be about 2-3 years old they start figuring out the whole Christmas thing.

    And a horse! :):

Seriously tho, I'm not really sure. I can always pick out a new trinket and Bill can pick out new gun stuff, we never buy those as a surprise for eachother, we're both to picky when it comes to what we want. I may get him some nw DVD's, and he may get me a new book if S. King has a new one out by then. World Peace is a good one, and enough food to feed all the hungry children in the world as well as medical attention for the poor in all countries.

You have puppies coming?!?!?!? Lucky you!!!

Should have another litter on the way after this upcoming weekend!!
