    smart man. Just like anything else, we have to find a balance. While I'm finishing grad school, we have an agreed upon quota -- which of course is full :)
    Looking forward to life post-grad school and saying adios to the quota (in due time, when funds allow, etc.)

    I agree. I was more getting at IF there was a common consensus on a basic beginning/minimalist list (and it's been confirmed by most posts here - a .22 + shotgun + handgun seems to be the most popular response thus far, with some opting for an AR/AK instead of the .22 or the shotgun).

    So far I've loved reading everyone's responses
