I bought my first shotgun on my 19th birthday back in 1989, a Remington 870 Express and she still shoots like a dream. I don't shoot it as much as I'd like to, I have a Browning O/U for the clay sports and a new 11-87 for HD and other competitions, but it is as reliable as the day is long.
Mine was a winchester 1300 20ga with wood stock and gloss bluing. Used it to kill my first deer, squirrel, rabbit, etc... I still have it but it doesn't do much killing anymore.
Remington 870 Wingmaster, my grandfather bought it at Western Auto on Payments when he got out of the service in the 60's. It's still displayed in my cabinet.
JC Higgins 883.13 Bolt-Action 16ga. Received from my Dad when I was 10. He gave it to me after our first rabbit hunt together. Used to cycle like butter, but the carrier just broke. I have been searching for months for a replacement.
