What was your first Handgun?

XD40 Tactical. December of 2004. Then I bought a Taurus 7 shot .357 when I turned 21. I didn't see the light with the first of 4 1911's until Thanksgiving of 2008.

I wish I would have bought just the 1911's now...

I commandered many of my father's and uncle's guns, but MY first was a Colt New Frontier .22lr at age 11.

Broke in half in about 10 years. (I was shooting it and the weapon snapped in two pieces, just under the trigger guard, as I was cocking it).

Beretta 92. Couldn't hit anything with it - hadn't practiced much back then. I'm a small guy so it was hard to conceal on my frame. Swithed over to a Glock 19 a few years later. Never gone back.
