Compact. Favorite: Glock 23 4th Gen. If I don't like the cost of .40, I throw in a 9mm barrel, and plink away! Second? Glock 19. I also like full size 1911, but haven't shot one in a couple years.:draw::ingo:

At this time, it's a tie between my Ruger Redhawk .44 Mag. and my Ruger Blackhawk .44 Mag!

Oh wait, those are the only two handguns i own. No Contest...The .44 magnums win!

Definitly a draw between the Kimber 1911 (any full size 1911) and the ruger MKII or MKIII. I can shoot proficiently with both. That 45 ammo is getting into my wallet too much these days so the 22 is the one i grab mor often.
I also shoot some friendly competitions with friends with the ruger. Mix of fun and affordability

My favorite to shoot is a full frame .45...S&W 645 and Sig 220. Not much experience with 1911 style but I like shooting them too.

As a young adult my favorite gun to shoot was S&W model 29 44 magnum, I later started shooting competition using a S&W 686 357 magnum, now I set out on the patio with my son shooting clays off the top rail of my fence using whatever 22's we have handy, spending time with my son (a few years down the road, my grandson also.) puts the biggest smile on my face, I'd have to say my favorite caliber to shoot is 22.
