    longest 22lr shot

Me and a few guys out at Decatur County Conservation club hit cans at the end of the range approx 170-175 yards.
Out of 5,6 rds i can hit the can at least 2, 3 times:D

Right now my primary 22 is a Western Field 22-s-lr made for Montgomery ward/Sears, Identical to the Winchester Palamino.
    Its my tack driver.
The scope is a cheap BSA 4x32 but works nice.
    I use 38 to 40 grain ammuntion sometimes 60gr

I will get some video soon!

225 yards at the Jasper-Pulaski range.
    Marlin Model 60
    4x32 scope
Out of 50 shots fired 18 hit the 7x11 piece of paper out there. My scope is sighted in at 50 yards which meant I had aim 2/3 the way up the 15 food berm haha.

This shot has been over 20 years ago, but I remember it like it was yesterday.

My brothers buddy had left his bolt action single shot 22lr that was older than heck over at our house. I grabbed it instead of our marlin 60. I took about 5 minutes aiming and made sure everything was just right. I squeezed off the shot and a sparrow dropped out of the tree about 80 yards away. I couldn't believe it and ran up to inspect the dead bird. My technique was correct, but there had to be some amount of luck involved since I was using iron sights.

I'd love to find an old single shot bolt action like that one, but now I don't remember what make the rifle was.

50 yards, hit a dime with iron sights that was laying in the dirt. I doubt I could repeat that though!

I have a scoped Marlin 60 I was out with a friend and we shooting bottles and what not out to about 75 yards or so. Really wasn't that difficult and would like the opportunity to try farther distances.

Got a Muskrat in my buddies pond from the upstairs bathroom window from 75 yards while it was swimming, through the base of the neck and out the nose. Doubt if I'll be able to duplicate that again.

Well I enjoy shooting 50 and 100 yds quite often...shot a large bird at about 115 paces while resting a Model 75 Winchester on my brothers shoulder about 20 years ago. Good rifle, decent rest, average marksman and lots of luck!
