What is the best deal you have gotten on a firearm? The best one for me was a S&W 915 9MM in like new condition! One of my retired police buddies had 4 of them and asked if I would be interested in buying one? I told him if the price was right, sure! He said, how about for free + transfer fees? I asked him if he was kidding? He said no, he wasn't and he would really like for me to have it! I was still in shock and it didn't register with me yet! He also gave me 5 extra factory mags with it. Anyway, after the deal was done with the FFL that handgun only cost me $20.00! :D :rockwoot: Top that one fellers! :dunno: :patriot:

    Whoa. Now that's a nice friend!!!! :n00b:

I picked up a brand new Remington R15 VTR at Dick's Sporting Goods. It was originally $1199. It was discounted to $999 and then I received several discounts, including one for applying for a Dick's credit card. When it was all said and done, I paid just over $800 bucks for it. Then, a month or so later, I received another $50 bucks in Dick's shopping cards. This was in late December, well after Obamination.

I had never seen an R15 at a Dick's store before or since. Mine was the only one they had received, and the manager said he didn't expect to see another, either.

A new (five rounds fired) Ruger SP101 .38 with 45 rounds of Federal +P and 6 Glasers for $125.00

A supposedly broken KelTec P11 for $50.00 (which I fixed and is now working perfectly except for the hammer marks on the end of the slide where the previous owner tried to get the slide off after jamming it all up on reassembly).

An Iver Johnson breaktop .38 S&W with a box of ammo for $5.00

I bought an 1892 Mauser at an auction for $75.00 and gave it to my father, for fathers day, 15 years ago. After about two years he took it to a gun shop that specialized in antique guns to get some ammunition. The dealer looked at it, told him it was all original, one of very few of its kind, and offered him $1000.00 for it. He still has and is his prized gun.

About two years ago or so I bought an excellent condition Norinco SKS and a full 1,000 case of Wolf HP and FMJ ammo for $200. At the time ammo was around $135 a case so I figured the rifle cost $65.

Well last fall I bought a mauser K98 that is in near perfect condition at a nearby dealer, was imported but all numbers matched that I can find. For $150 looks to be unfired. Not too long before that I bought my yugo SKS there for $250, where a couple days before I had bought 450 rds of chinese ammo for $40, and then was given 2 cases of the chinese ammo for free!!! I got the ammo so cheap cause my uncle was helping take care of a estate auction for a patient of my mom's. And he dug those cases up after the auction and asked me if I could use them, so he just gave them to me :D

I originally bought Colt Python For 300 bucks from a friend, then he offered to bet the money on the De La Hoya / Maywether fight. I'm not usually a gambling man but I couldn't pass up a free Colt.
