Well, I wouldn't count a gift as a deal on a firearm :dunno:

Other than that, though, I'd say either the like new XD40 for $350, the NIB Ruger P95DC for $200 out the door, or the lightly used 870 express for $150.

    I don't pay retail.

It was a distributor closeout back in the late 90s. I was in the right place at the right time. Oh, and it only came with 2 ban-compliant 10-rd mags. I got 4 aftermarket 15 rounders for 60 bucks, so your deal was pretty good.

I have come across several deals over the years....some of them I took, some of them I wish I would have taken. Many of them that I took advantage of were firearms that came with as much ammo as the gun itself costs, sometimes 4k or 5k rounds...all for the price of just the gun.

But, probably the best deal was a Stevens double barrel 18 guage for $12.50. May not be worth a ton....but was a heck of a deal.

LNIB Desert Eagle .44 magnum for $350.

Saw a guy in the local gun shop a few weeks ago. He was talking about the deal he had just scored - a guy at work asked if wanted to buy a single shot 12 gauge for $10. The guy bought it, went and got the gun, and realized that he had just bought a hardly used Beretta semi-auto.
