Tough question! I guess for handguns, it would have to be my CZ 82. Rifles... even tougher. Probably my Garand or Yugo M48 Mauser... but that's pretty arbitrary!

S&W model 41, pricey?? yes, worth the price...mmmmmm?
A good Ruger target model, w/ trigger job.... yes at half the price of a 41.
When I shoot my 41 most people comment, A 41!! very nice pistol
When I shoot my Ruger mklll w/fluted barrel comments=0000.
Both shoot from rest at 40yds 1inch -1.500 inch groups w/ wal-mart ammo.
Remember, most times it's the shooter, not the firearm/equipment.
