Trying to understand injustice against black communities...

There's a lot of injustice. What the US government has capitalized upon (the fake left and the fake right) and done to separate blacks since the 1960's is almost beyond understanding.

It as of right now is an organization that is attempting to help the injustice against black communities. But with so many in it with the wrong cause it's hard to see the help.

Have you read the "about us" on its website? I have. I'll just say....it's more than that...and not fond of men.

I think everyone in the country agrees that black lives matter... its the organization that we have issue with. They’ve done nothing to help the black community, and have done far more to hurt the community than any law enforcement agency has in the last 50 years. All the tax money that should be fixing their infrastructure and education has to go to rebuilding miles of destruction. Businesses that provide jobs and goods are burnt to the ground creating more unemployment. BLM doesn’t give a damn about the black community. It’s a political entity with a name thought up to generate supporters and gives them the opportunity to accuse anyone who doesn’t stand with “black lives matter” as being racists and unsympathetic to black Americans. It’s almost too clever for a liberal to have thought up, so when they said they were trained marxists it became much more clear.

No it's not, it's a terrorist organization that is forcing anarchy on the people through political pressure to dissolve/ease policing, and destroy all small business in their respective areas.

What does race have to do with either of those things? It's just a mask they hide behind when criticized because they know your average white person is terrified of being called racist.

Bingo. I was trying to do a well reasoned response but had to deleat a few times.

I would only add....."Show me one Iota of effort/money spent to help in any black area".......Pleased.

No, I don't think that's true - and it is because it is demonstrably untrue that most people take issue with the grievances put forth by BLM.

The harsh, sad reality is that the lives of young, black men do not matter to the assailants who are taking 95% the lives of those young, black men (i.e. other young, black men) or to the people who protect those assailants (i.e. the urban black community and culture that are anti-police, "snitches get stitches", etc.). Even more sadly, the black lives that are collateral loss to internecine violence of young, black men: i.e. the innocent bystanders in the black community, such as young children who are killed or the elderly who are assaulted/robbed.

At least as evidenced by their words and actions and by the people they choose to promote, BLM couldn't care less about any of their lives. Rather, they only care about the fraction of a percent of black lives that are (potentially) unjustifiably taken by police officers.

    So it's socialist/communist lesbians? I knew it!

    Well...yeah.

Just a few quotes from their own website:

As organizers who work with everyday people, BLM members see and understand significant gaps in movement spaces and leadership. Black liberation movements in this country have created room, space, and leadership mostly for Black heterosexual, cisgender men — leaving women, queer and transgender people, and others either out of the movement or in the background to move the work forward with little or no recognition. As a network, we have always recognized the need to center the leadership of women and queer and trans people. To maximize our movement muscle, and to be intentional about not replicating harmful practices that excluded so many in past movements for liberation, we made a commitment to placing those at the margins closer to the center.

We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence.

We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered.

We make our spaces family-friendly and enable parents to fully participate with their children. We dismantle the patriarchal practice that requires mothers to work “double shifts” so that they can mother in private even as they participate in public justice work.

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).

We cultivate an intergenerational and communal network free from ageism. We believe that all people, regardless of age, show up with the capacity to lead and learn.

Chip, I think he's saying it in more generic way than what is meant when BLM the organization says it. So basically, virtually everyone except a few miscreants, sociopaths, and ideologues, believe that *all* lives matter, "black" lives are a subset of that. Most everyone believes that Black people should be treated according to the content of their character and not the color of their skin. So then if we're all being honest, it should be fairly obvious that BLM's grievances are mostly bull****.

Interestingly, this one is another of those "nonbinary" types. There seems to be a fair amount of sexual confusion among the burn, loot, murder folks.

Helpful hint: Look in your pants. Do you see a penis? If yes, male. If no, female.

She/he/whatever claimed that the old couple invited her to have a drink with them. Apparently they did not. Of course the media was eager to claim that the encounter was consensual. Normally, everyone could figure this out, that society would not tolerate this kind of encroachment on personal space and privacy. Part of society has completely lost its ability to figure this kind of stuff out. It's nonsense and should not be tolerated. But the Left has created a climate in which people are afraid to be seen not tolerating it.

One of the commenters said that the white couple who had their beverage stolen by this...whatever the **** that thing is with the anti-Nazi shirt...are actually Jewish.

Don't know if that's true or not, but it is keeping with the 2020 motif.

Parades of people like that make me grateful that I don't live in the city. It's bad when you are at the Winchester, having a pint, and waiting for it all to blow over.

Based on the video, it looks like the protester was not invited to the drink.

That's why they've invented the x-adjacent. Ben Shapiro is Jewish, but is Nazi-adjacent because he is on the right, which is obviously nothing but Nazis.

These ****ing idiots have been conditioned to see Nazis everywhere.
