it's not just the coverage or lack of it. It's the tone, when Bush was in everything he did was wrong, right wing nut jobs ruled the roost. Now as we have seen all along, and even now when Obama wants to start a war, the MSM is all on board, no venom, no insults, no rage.

And the roles have reversed. Whodathunkit.

Yeah they became the anarchist wing of the Libertarians....
Stop talking, you're looking less informed than usual. The left libertarians and anarcho-libertarians have been around for decades. They're not some new phenomenon that coalesced from the anti war segment of the population. Rothbard was around a long time before the anti war crowd. Don't use words you have no knowledge of, like libertarian.

An interesting conundrum: Will the press cover them like they did during Republican administrations? :dunno: How conflicted the MSM must feel!

I remember one of the DC protests had like 10 miles of people marching. The front of the parade/protest reached it's destination before the rear of the protest even started walking. No idea why a million (give or take) people at a peaceful protest shouldnt be covered by the media?

Maybe you should post something that more people than just you think is funny. Insulting a bunch of people and then saying "... It's a joke ..." doesn't really make it funny.

The question was whether the anti war types were going to switch parties. My reply was that they were going to be the anarchist wing of the libertarian party. How does that insult anyone?

Everyone knows that the anarchists see themselves as "libertarian-socialists" thus they have more ties to the democrats. But they are not going to become republicans. Thus the humor of them "joining" the libertarians. Besides the libertarians do have stronger ties to the anti war movement than do the democrats.

huh, since when do you speak for everyone? I think you are confused as to the meaning of anarchist. They dont see themselves as any party, they do not support any gov't. If they do, then they arent anarchists.

I was in the Navy for almost 14 years. I know what kind of people join the military. I'm not sure what you're looking for. Here's a few links.

    Look, pictures!

I listen to NPR quite a bit, and they've mentioned the protesters plenty, had a few shows with experts discussing both sides, etc. (I know it isn't as fun as listening to someone angrily rant while presenting only one side, but I still find it interesting).

If you can't find coverage of protesters, perhaps you're looking in the wrong places. Maybe tv news isn't covering it, I don't know since I don't bother with "better to be first than right" news programs.
