I have always been a fan of the CRKT M series designed by Carson. Like the little flip stud on the back better then the ones on the blades and the autolawks system, while a little tricky to close one handed makes the locked open knife rock solid. Prices are not too bad for a good quality blade.

Gerber Gator GB-6079, 3.75" semi serrated blade, carried it for the last 15 years or so and can't tear it up, still looks like brand new.

    Buck Tactical: Ghost Rider

Strong, reliable and dual deployment options. This high-tech tactical folder with liner lock has a durable and nearly indestructible G10 handle. The Tiger Stripe camo blade has a 2-hand deployment groove and angled handle with finger groove and grip orientation points for easy handling. Lanyard hole on knife for easy attachment.

Payed around $46 for it BUCK

Thanks to the kindness of a member here. My newest addition to my vest is a RAT RC-4. I am very excited to put this blade though its paces. It appears to ba a very well made and balanced piece of craftmanship.
