I think I'm screwed, left ear feels blocked/muffled, and I have some ringing.

Not neccessarily, I did the same thing a couple of years ago. It took about a week but it started getting better. Now I hear OK but I still have ringing.... but the ringing was there before the shooting. :@ya:

Not only is hearing damage permenant, but it is cumalative, ie. all the little damage adds up, be it concerts, fire crackers and lawnmowers. As a kid I spent quite a bit of time mowing with out hearing protection, now I wear them all the time. So anytime you are around loud noise, year your prophylactic (protection)!

Yeah, it has gotten a lot better overnight. Weird thing is that I was working in a house with a canary yesterday and every time it sang, it sounded like a loud high pitch screech.

The "ringing" sounds more like crickets outside at night.

I always wear ear protection at the range. I often double up with plugs and muffs. I'm not so consistent with eye protection though. I should work on that.

I don't think I've ever worn shooting glasses, nor do I see a whole lot of people that do.

By "shooting glasses", do you mean safety glasses in general?
Because you might want to think about doing so, if you don't.
Just because you have two eyes, doesn't mean that one is a spare.

That's a dangerous little game you're playing with your vision, friend.
Just this summer, I took ejected brass to the eye so hard, it chipped my polycarb regular glasses. If I hadn't have been wearing them, I guess I'd have needed to invest in a hand hook and a wooden leg to go with the patch. Arrgh.
    Good luck with that.

The range I go to has a dispenser like this mounted on the wall. Heres a link. Ear Plug Dispenser. <----Click

Ouch! Now, I'm glad I have a spare set of earplugs in my car. Haven't had to use them yet but I got them if I need them or to lend to a friend at the range.
