We've been socialist for awhile now. Therefore, I'd rather not use the USSA title.

Instead, I suggest The Divided States of America. We may be divided in ideals, but I'll never accept the word Socialist as the official title to my country! It's still worth fighting for, and "The People" will not be caught off guard any longer.

People with insurance that's better than what the government thinks you should have will be taxed at up to a rate of 40% on their plans. Medical appliances will have an excise tax added to them, (can't recall what the rate is). Those making more than 250K a year are going to have to pay higher taxes to fund the governments plans. The old people now get all their meds paid for by those who don't suck at the government teat. How are these even remotely not infringements on certain people? Of course, we'll have to live with these for the rest of our lives, just as we do with the previous socialisation plans that dems and reps foisted on us. It's passed and it's here to stay. Republicrats have zero chance of repealing it, even if they had the will to do so, which they don't.
You'd better either read the bill, or at least watch Fox, so that you get your "facts" right.
The Medicare provision that helps people pay for their medications is GONE under this POS legislation. It's one of the "savings" provisions of the bill.

Which is absolute BULL:poop: My Grandfather served in the army to clean up the mess left in Germany during the late 40's and early 50's to help that country start new after being ruled under SOCIALISM.

My other Grandpa, God rest his soul, did it right. He passed away playing golf in August before all this :poop: went down

No, it's not. What this bill does is fill in the "donut hole" in Bush's prescription medication debacle, over a 10 year period. That's the only part that disappeared. The part where the old people actually had to accept responsibility for their own care. Now, of course the rest of us have to pay for it. Indentured servitude feels great, hope my kids like being enslaved by the "greatest generation" and the boomers. If it did do away with it, then I'd certainly support that provision.

Here's a little blurb on the issue for you. From CNN
    Closing the "doughnut hole"
In addition, the compromise plan closes the Medicare prescription drug "doughnut hole" by 2020. Under current law, Medicare stops covering drug costs after a plan and beneficiary have spent more than $2,830 on prescription drugs. It starts paying again after an individual's out-of-pocket expenses exceed $4,550.
Senior citizens stuck in the doughnut hole this year would receive a $250 rebate.

Man are YOU in for a shock if you live long enough to get old. :lmfao:
I'd like to hang around and see that but unfortunately Obamacare will kill me off long before then.
    GOOD LUCK!

If I do, I certainly won't be sucking a .gov teat or living off of stolen money and the hard work of others. You're welcome to, tho.

Well I didn't thank you. I wished you luck.
    Here are the facts.
I'm on Medicare and have been for four years.
To date they have paid NOT ONE F----ING CENT for my medications.
However they do take 1/3rd of my Social Security every month to pay for the mythical medicine assistance. (It's their "administration" fee)
That's why I said GOOD LUCK!
You'll be in the same boat as me some day BUT you will have paid into the Obamacare fund for years and years.
So don't just blame my, or any other, generation for your problems.
    DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!
