Wayne Root is an astute odds analyst.

“A top insurance analyst has analyzed the CDC’s own death rate data and it matches the data released by the UK government.”

“There is a 7% increase in death for each time you take the Covid jab. In other words, your odds of dropping dead suddenly go up 7% if you take one Covid jab…they go up 14% after your 2nd jab…they go up 21% after your third jab…28% after your fourth…and 35% after you get another dose. And so on and so on.”

“Once you get to jab number ten, your odds of dying would rise by 70%. Are those deadly enough odds for you?“

“Let’s say you had a loaded gun in your hand to play a game of “Russian Roulette.” Each time you pull the trigger your odds of dying go up by 7%. Would a 35% higher chance of dying by trigger pull number five worry you? Would you pull the trigger one more time as the odds increase?”

“But I have a warning about that 7% increase for every Covid jab you take. I believe that’s a best-case scenario.”

It’s OK. Everyone that drops dead can be replaced with a new illegal coming into the country that don’t take the shot. Democrats got it all figured out.

Then why do so many people seem to think we can 'reach across the aisle' and 'govern by consensus' when the middle has been depopulated?

There is almost no common ground between the institutional left and normal people
We can’t. There is no common ground with peopole who think white people are inherently racist and balck people are incapable of racism. Or that men can get pregnant. Or that men should be allowed to compete in women’s sports. Or that it’s okay to use the DOJ as a weapon against political enemies. Or that the government should force people to take an unvetted vaccine. I could go on.

There was a time when consensus was possible because the distance between the sides wasn’t insurmountable. That time is past.

Never seen a DINO reference in the wild…
GWP doesn’t use that language so it’s not surprising you haven’t heard it. Watch the Jimmy Dore show on YouTube. They’ve used it. Ever watch the Leftist shows? Yeah, they’re unbearable. Jimmy Dore not as much because he’s at least anti-woke. But they use the term. In case you’re wondering, they pronounce it Die-no, not Dee-no.

We’re not discussing how many people are in the center. It’s not even a discussion about the center. It’s a discussion about people on the left who still have some sense and use it to make decisions about political positions. It’s not just the right wing pushing back on vaccines.

I don’t disagree that people in the center have dwindled. But it’s enough that Democrats complain about DINOS, and Republicans complained about RINOS.
Democrats and intelligence together is an oxymoron.

I wonder if some of these 'centrists' on the left are only espousing negativity to the leftwing extremism because the nuttery has finally started to affect them personally.
Who said they’re centrists. But anyway maybe you should have some conversations with the people you don’t understand. It could be enlightening.

Really? I don't understand? Do you mean I don't understand someone is a nutter when they claim men can menstruate and birth babies? Do you mean I don't understand someone is a nutter when they claim pornographic picture books with graphic descriptions are appropriate for children? Drag shows for toddlers? Feminine products in the men's room? To hell with people that freakin' crazy. I won't be having a conversation with them because there is nothing to discuss. They're not good people.
    It could be enlightening.
Maybe you should go hang out with Karen while she screams you're a murderer because you don't wear your mask, in your own car, when you're alone. Maybe she'll enlighten you. It's a hard pass for from me. I'd rather live in the dark than to see any light offered by the collective-thinking absolutists that hate you, hate me and hate themselves.

you and I (and Siddhartha) have a different meaning of 'enlightenment'
An assertion was made that people on the left are stupid. I'm going by my own personal experience. Where I work maybe 10% of the engineers I work with have a right of center worldview. Many of them are not political, but seem to have a very left of center worldview. One senior engineer I worked with thinks his daughter is fighting the patriarchy. He's very good at his job. Intelligent. One of the best engineers I've worked with. But foolish when it comes to how the world actually works.

I suppose in the Forrest Gump sense, where stupid is as stupid does, maybe a distinction should be made between stupid and foolish. It allows for the reality that the right end of the intelligence bell curve doesn't mean it's all filled with right wing people and the left side is filled with left wing people. I suspect it's more evenly distributed.
