Well you Daniel and Steve had the fun part playing Joe "problem child" shooter!
It was an informative class. Gary, the trainer, is a real pro and a good trainer. I liked how he stood up to Coach in the beginning when Coach was about to go ape about standing on top of the boundary. Instead of getting wrapped up in opinion, Gary stated the rules that contradict each other and then gave his opinion. Out is out, in is in and standing on the boundary is standing on the boundary. Gary said it is important to be consistent about that match, and not what is perceived to be right which is up for a long discussion. That really defused the situation. Of course there were no real points to make or cars to win. It only made it obvious we need some areas of the rule book improved.
Thanks to Steve and Dan, much appreciated.
The best part was watching coach and Dan shoot. Couldn't shoot that stage clean to save their life and got to blame in on "trying to mess up so you can practice RO'ing."
Finally finished my test today. It's safe to say no one will ever get DQ from me, it will take me too long to find the Damn rule in the book!
Just curious has anyone from this class been notified or either pass or fail? I still have no exam on file per website.
Anyone ready to take my recert?
It only takes about 10 minutes......
Then another hour and a half to look up the rule numbers in the convoluted, unintuitive, rule book.
