I don't, because my left-leaning friends don't usually talk about my mental state or the size of my penis, or anyone else's, which really doesn't open a lot of opportunities to mount such a defense. Calling others mentally ill, beta males, etc. just isn't something that happens in my day to day conversations.

"Perhaps someday guns will only be viewed in museums, as a reminder of our barbaric and ignorant past. And in the future, the rants of gun advocates will only be heard in asylums."
We have here a lefty who not only makes it clear that he wants not just some, but all, guns banned, but he also actually openly states that he wants gun owners or advocates institutionalized.
What possible commonality or genteel relationship can a gun owner possibly have with someone like that?

The deficiencies are there, and it's reasonable to call them out, if only to give third parties the perspective to recognize the phenomenon. Yes, I'll make fun of them among my people, because some of them are absolutely hilarious out of context, as much as they're dangerous within. I refuse to moderate what I consider reasonable descriptions of these nimrods because you think it's mean spirited or seeking the low road. Do whatever you feel makes you morally superior; I don't find people like you pleasant to be around.
