Your reading skills need a little work. You didn't read about the disassociation. I fully admit that everyone who voted for the elected leader is mentally retarded and I in no way support or his administration. Now lets see if the UAW members will disassociate from the UAW and prove they are not socialist/communist/democrat.
Seems your the one who needs better reading skills, many times in this thread has it been posted that most who work Union employment are not liberal democrats.
Those that actually work or worked a Union career, would actually know the other members they worked with and their beliefs.

Don't you have some rollers and patent plates to clean?
Or type to put back in the drawers.

When I started printing, there was still lead type being used in some places. As to cleaning, before low-VOC solvents, I do believe I lost many brain cells. Not enough to post nekked pics of myself like some printers (@printcraft), but it kept us happy. :@ya:

Yes, I know how to operate a linotype... used to print prayer cards on the windmill.
I still have about 20 pigs I use for padding weights.

Still waiting for them to denounce the UAW and their leadership in their entirety for being openly socialist/communist/democrat.

It goes a little further than that. Temps can be forced to work 12-14 hours a day. They can be forced seven days a week for weeks on end and then sent home for weeks on end. Rinse and repeat. No profit sharing, no bonuses, moved from shift to shift without notice. None of this can be done to seniority employees. I'm willing to label it something else. Got any suggestions?

United Auto Workers, it's in the name. How can we claim to be united if we are okay with people getting paid less and treated differently while doing the same job?
Are they allowed to quit and find a better job?

You never said what rich is relative to.

Sometimes you and Kamala Harris have things in common.
Why did you expect me to answer a question not asked in the post I replied to? I did answer your question BTW.

Creed asked me if I’d ever seen poverty and despair. I told him I grew up poor. But, I grew up better than my dad did. He grew up better than a lot of other people back in the depression. It's up to the person what they think poverty is and whether they feel like they're in despair. I didn't have a great childhood, my dad had worse. His dad even worse.

Tell you what. If you want an absolute definition, I'd say the threshold of being rich is the point at which most everyone would agree you're rich. I suppose some people would not have called my family poor, but the threshold of being poor is the point at which most everyone would agree you're poor.

I just know what I think is poor and rich. The commie isn't rich. But he is in a class well above his union peers. That's not disparaging him making more. But it was a valid point brought up about it.
