TSD Gen 3 Slide compatible with a 4th Gen frame?

I'm thinking about buying a TSD slide / RMR (RM07) combo (TSD COMBAT SYSTEMS RMR-EQUIPPED GLOCK 17 TOP END) for my Glock 17. Only problem is they list it as a Gen 3, and my Glock is a Gen 4. Does anyone know if that would work reliably, and not cause damage to my frame? Thanks.

Short answer is no

I was told the same thing. Something about: They fit initially, but there are slight changes that will allow the 3rd generation slide and recoil spring to sit not fully supported in the gen 4 frame. After a number or shots you will see frame damage.

I'd be interested i the answer to this too! Depending on how much it cost. This is one reason i didnt purchase the tsd slide is because it cost as much as another pistol. Id rather have another pistol.

I might have to check with him. One Source will mill my existing slide and add the taller suppressor style sights, but I kind of wanted to leave it un-molested.
